Here at Intake Primary Academy we cater for pupils with a wide range of allergies and medical needs. All the meats used in the hot dishes are Halal. As we have a number of children attending here with severe nut allergies we do not allow any products containing nuts into school. All foods used in the preparation of school dinners are also Nut Free. Our menu has been carefully created to ensure that children are receiving a balanced diet comprising of fresh fruit, vegetables, protein and carbohydrates each day. Each day there is a vegetarian option and Jacket potatoes with various fillings on offer. Sandwiches are served Monday through to Thursday and there are alternative menus available including Gluten-Free and Vegan if needed.

School dinners are currently £2.75 per day, £13.75 per week. Monies should be paid onto the child’s MCAS account in advance of the meals being taken. You can also select your child’s dinner for the next 2 weeks using the app.
